First steps

Deployment of a new add-on in Jira typically requires initial data input. To meet user needs and increase simplicitation of the process certain facilitation mechanisms have been developed.
To start working with the add-on, we suggest taking the following steps:
Install the add-on, as described in chapter "Installing the Add-on" Installing the Add-on
Assign appropriate permissions in accordance with the organization's rules, as described in chapter "Permissions" Permissions
Important!!! Before starting to use the add-on, the Jira administrator must grant themselves permissions to view data within the add-on.Create organization and organizational levels, and assign individuals responsible for each level, as described in chapter "Organizations Organizations structure | Creating a new organization
Create global properties, visible to all users, as described in chapter "User propertiesā User Properties | Creating a new property
Create private properties, visible only to selected users, as described in chapter "User propertiesā User Properties | Creating a new property
Export the list of users and organizations to a CSV file Import & export
Complete the list of users by assigning the appropriate organizational levels in a CSV file
Import users with organizations from a CSV file
Export the list of users with properties to a CSV file
Complete the values for user properties in a CSV file
Import users with properties from a CSV file
Configure options to display data on Jira tasks User Properties
